What if the company you work for could control your mind?

Only weeks remain before Lectures And More, Inc., a company representing the world’s top motivational speakers, launches its latest technological advance: a mind-altering radio frequency device sold as a work-site enhancement product. The deceptively altruistic Ulrich Rogers spearheads the company and its reeducation programs, incorporating the presentational prowess and charm of Jennifer Chance, a world-renowned motivational speaker. But as the lies that make up her life begin to unravel like threads on a poorly sewn garment, it becomes evident that nothing is as it seems.

Jennifer alone holds the key to unveil Rogers’s plot to hold America hostage using Lectures And More’s newest device. Plunged into a twisting chase to escape the clutches of Rogers and his former espionage henchmen, Jennifer seeks help from Frank Revere, an enigmatic former government counterintelligence agent. But the question of who to trust continues to dangle in Jennifer’s mind. Thousands of lives hang in the balance, but a deeper deception lurks in the shadows …

Brimming with suspense, danger, and mystery, Deadly Exchange conjures up a blend of the ordinary, the arcane, the seen, and the unseen in the search for truth.

Stay up late with this thriller!

If you read spy thrillers there's probably a little inner spy in you, and what could be more fun than to see the story through the eyes of someone who has lived it? This story of espionage and personal redemption takes hold and doesn't put you down until you turn the last page. Even then, it leaves you wanting more, hoping there's a sequel or two with Jennifer and Frank. You'll cheer for these two and love to hate Jones, and just might lose a little sleep every time the phone rings...

Le Carre, Cussler, Ludlum.. Move over!

I admit that I am not a fast reader, but Geoff Gluckman's Deadly Exchange had me riveted. If it was a library book I would have returned it before it was due. My last 3 'thrillers' have required two renewals. Looking forward to the next one.

    A Thriller

I thoroughly enjoyed this exciting spy thriller. The plot, characters, and settings were well written and extrememly interesting. I was most impressed by the author's knowledge of mind control, government agents, advanced technology, and human behavior. This book was read by our book club and we all enjoyed a lively discussion when we reviewed Deadly Exchange.

    Original, complex thriller

This novel features a strong, female protagonist and non-stop action. Gluckman has original ideas which keep the reader thinking and the plot moving. Compares favorably to Vince Flynn and Dan Brown.

Page turner - Kept me up past my bedtime!

Exciting read. It kept me up way past when I should have been asleep. :) Wonderfully written, I couldn't wait for my next chance to pick it up. The author's personal experiences and knowledge lend a nice air of authenticity to the book. Descriptions were spot on - I lived in San Diego, and am currently in the Bay Area. Could see the many locales described in the book. Gluckman has given me many things to think about and investigate.

Thought provoking and a great read

I truly enjoyed Geoffrey Gluckman's novel, Deadly Exchange. I had taken a several year break from reading fiction and this story was a refreshing return to fictional story telling. The Characters were very intriguing and easy to imagine as real. The concept and story was very believable and I loved the Authors ability to mix in important humanist philosophy and concepts while sharing some interesting world views while telling a realistic yet thrilling story.

    A reviewer

Gluckman intorduces intriging and worrying insights into the world of espionage and population control. His Government background and knowledge of how the human body functions creates an in-depth but true to life sequence of events which make this such an enjoyable and stimulating read.

Faced Paced, Thought Provoking Spy Novel

This is a fast paced novel that makes one question societal controls imposed by high technology in questionable hands. The author takes the time to artfullly allow the characters to grow and grapple with their complex facets. His descriptions of places from San Francisco to San Diego to Washington, DC to Arizona, of people and events are very original with subtle nuances that transports the reader into the action. I highly recommend this adventurous, thought provoking spy novel that is set in many shades of gray. The author's actual background as a government agent certaily adds authenticity to the plot.
