Overview

The hunters become the hunted when a lawyer & his PI look into a 30 year-old Boston murder.

It's the eve of the 2012 election. Super Storm Sandy is ready to blast the northeast. Seattle Defense Attorney Mac Brodie and his investigator Seth Ivarsson travel to Boston to look into the racially charged thirty-year-old murder of a white coed. Meanwhile new law partner Brooke Fletcher, minding the shop back in Seattle, finds herself immersed in her own case involving a missing juvenile and the juvenile who may have murdered him. Old enemies from Mac's past have become dangerous bedfellows and when the unthinkable happens, Seth is dead set on revenge, and Brooke reeling from her loss joins in the hunt.

From the streets of Boston to the underworld of Providence to the lakes of New Hampshire, Deadly Favors is a taut legal thriller ripped from today's headlines of racism and the growing threat from the super rich with frightening agendas.

The first book was pretty good so I bought the next two. The second was ok, but this one is a crusade against racism and the death penalty. Short story puffed with the authors agenda.

Great crime drama. Same characters as Murder Begets Murder - but in Boston which I enjoyed.

Author should stick with fiction. Anti Republican Party bias too obvious
