Editorial Reviews

RT Book Reviews - Grace Morasco
"Grace delivers enough sizzle to raise the temperature, showcases her talent for sharp repartee and executes the action like an ace fighter pilot. With riveting suspense and commanding characters, this is one addicting, must-have summer read."
My Book Addiction & Reviews - April Renn
"With engaging characters, witty banter, a sexy hero, a feisty heroine, murder, suspense, romance, a serial killer, what's not to enjoy in this fast-paced romantic suspense. If you enjoy Cherry Adair and Catherine Mann's writing, you'll enjoy Alexa Grace. What a strong debut!"
Fictional Candy - Ms. Liz
"... great chemistry, a great sexual tension, and enough drama to fill a corn field... really great mystery, with just a touch of horror in the form of a serial killer...I definitely recommend this if you are into romantic suspense novels!"
Book Whisperer - M C
"The feelings between them make it hard for the characters because Anne wants to be strong during these horrible events and protect, not only Michael's life, but also his career, thus she pushes him away. However, Michael cannot leave her side for the fear that something might happen to her and he wouldn't be there to save her.

I was constantly wondering who this killer was, what connection he had with Anne, and why he targeted her. This book was a good and quick read."

    Terrific Action-Packed Romance Novel

"Deadly Offerings" is a fantastic novel. It's action-packed from the very beginning. Even if you aren't a big fan of romance novels, you will find this novel to be worthwhile read. I could barely put it down. I especially enjoyed that I could not figure out the culprit until it was revealed because usually I have a book figured out from the very beginning. I'm looking forward to the next book in the series, "Deadly Delivery." "Deadly Offerings" is a book for anyone looking for a suspenseful, fun, action-packed read!

    A fun treat

“Deadly Offerings” is a suspenseful, fun and quick read. Trying to figure out the culprit that was leaving the offerings kept me guessing throughout the book. I would recommend this book to anyone who is intrigued by mystery but also love a bit of romance.

    Great Mystery!

Anne is in the process of a divorce. Her friends take her to the bar to let loose a little bit and she sees a handsome guy across the room. She is instantly attracted, but not yet ready to jump into the dating scene. Then she sees him again – in court as her soon to be ex-husband’s attorney! And wait, he shows up again and again! Michael is showing up everywhere, and seemingly always at the precisely perfect moment.

Anne and Michael are a power couple in the making. There is great chemistry, a great sexual tension, and enough drama to fill a …corn field. It’s a good thing that Michael is as persistent as he is, because he is definitely going to need it with the relationship-shy Anne. Messy divorces can do that to you. But every time these two are around each other you know it’s meant to be. I really loved how Anne is always first on Michael’s mind. He is tough and strong, yet caring and sensitive to her emotions and needs. Anne, on the other hand, began to become a bit frustrating. She is obviously attracted to Michael, but she ignores all of her own emotional and physical cues (not to mention his) and keeps thinking of him just as her ex’s attorney. Like come on girl! Get it together and kiss him!

This book has a really great mystery, with just a touch of horror in the form of a serial killer. I was really happy to see I was wrong (repeatedly) about who the killer was. That is definitely something I always appreciate when it comes to a murder mystery. The serial killer is super creepy and it seems like they are always one step ahead of the game. But then this story has so much more into it. There is a budding romance building. Not to mention another that will spin off into the sequel.

During the beginning of the book I felt it moved a bit fast. The number of events that happened in just the first chapter was quite high. But it quickly begins to even out and it turned into quite the page turner. I finished this in two days and I thought it was a really good story. I definitely recommend this if you are into romantic suspense novels!

    Wow.

This is possibly one of the only romance/thriller novels I just couldn't finish. Terrible. There are phrases repeated over and over, tired interactions, misspelled words, and it sounds like it was written by somone of marginal intelligence. Do yourself a favor and keep looking. Ugh.

    Difficult to read..

As I try to read this book on my Nook, I am finding a lot of blank pages. It is difficult to follow the story when you "rejoin" 50 or so pages later! Whoever formatted this book for ereaders goofed, big time.

    Trouble with format

Book might have been an interesting read, but considering that at least the first two pages were missing and every fourth or fifth page thereafter was either missing or psragraphs scrambled on the page, won't be finishing it.

    Book one...

My first read by this author and I was pleasantly surprised at how good it was. All the characters were great, its nice how Ms. Grace wrote from many of the characters perspectives not just the two main characters, Anne and Michael. There was plenty of mystery and action to keep the reader interested and enough chemistry and spice between Anne and Michael to have you wanting more. The rest of this series seems just as promising and I can't wait to get started on them!

FYI: I have the Nook HD+ and for some reason many of the pages in this book kept skipping. It happened every time I finished a chapter, like it would jump from page 43 to 47, I would have to manually get to the pages in between. Not sure if others had this problem but just wanted to put it out there.

    Disappointing

This book was not very good. It was predictable and several times the pages would not come up. It jumped around and did flow together very good. I will not be reading anymore by this author.

    Missing pages hurts this book

The story was good overall, but there were a lot of missing pages and pages that started in the middle of asentence. THIS really interupted the flow of the story to the point I almostgave up on it. Would love to read the other two books, but I will not get them due the problem that I had with the pages.
