CIA Agent. Business Owner. Lobbyist. Bigamist.

David Miller was the envy of both friend and foe, with a dream job and perfect family. He seemed to have it all. But he wanted more. One family wasn't enough: he wanted two. Two careers weren't enough; he invented a third. He juggled it all quite well . . . until the day his two wives found out about each other. Highly Recommend - Double Agent¿.or Was He?

Karen Kingsbury does an excellent job writing about a difficult subject. She transitions well and keeps your attention. It could be that you are so appalled that it keeps your interest, maybe you relate to one or more victims, perhaps you like a thriller mystery novel, or maybe, just maybe, you wish you could get away with leading a double life. Definitely glad I read it!

This was such a good book.  You really have to read it to believe it.  Unbelievable that it's true.

    Redundacies & Typos

I noticed some redundant use of proper names. When it's clear to whom a sentence is referring, a pronoun would make more sense than repeating the same name. And look less awkward. I also noticed some typos. Looks like someone got in too big a hurry getting the story into Ebook form!

    Recommended reading.

I enjoyed this book very much, I had never heard of this story, quite incredible what a human being is capable of. The only reason I gave it a 3 stars instead of 4 or 5, is that sometimes at the beginning and middle of the book it felt a bit repetitive.

    A Good Read

Although Karen Kingsbury usually does not write mystery tales, this is a true story about deceit and murder. A good read that keeps one intrigued about details.

    Exciting Book

I really enjoyed reading this book. I'm a Karen Kingsbury fan and was surprised to discover she had written these murder mysteries at the very beginning of her career. It was a well written story that kept your interest throughout. I'm glad I read it but enjoy the types of life changing fiction she now writes much more.

    A good Read

This book is good- interesting, but not as good as the rest of Karen Kingsbury's books!!
I guess reading her books- you really are spoiled- and this one is good, but I did not enjoy it as I did a whole bunch of her books.

    Excellent read!

Very captivating - I had trouble putting it down. Kingsbury did an excellent job of revealing the characters to her readers. I felt like I knew them personally. I would recommend to anyone who likes true crime novels.

    Sad

This book stayed with me long after I finished it. I can't say this i s a good book. Nothing was good about a life being taken. But I am glad the aruther wrote this story. These women's story deserved to be told. David Miller was a sick man! I do reccomend this book. It makes you stop and think what people really are capible of. R.G

I was surprised, as were many of my friends with whom I share KK

I was surprised, as were many of my friends with whom I share KK books, to learn of the 4 early books her career. I can understand why she would prefer to write the sort of books she now does, as it would obviously be difficult to deal with such horrifying subject matter regularly. But I must say that I am most impressed at this most early (first?) work. She is a wonderful writer, and I always enjoy her Christian fiction. But this book shows that she has the capability to write very well, even on such a hurtful subject. I am now trying to find the other of her 1st 4 books to see just how far she has spread her wings. If they are as compelling a read as Deadly Pretender and all her wonderful Christian books, I will be gratified. Keep them coming, Ms. K
