Imagine a world where some people could fly and blast using magic wands. Like an alternate history, Genghis Khan in the 12th century conquers half the world using millions of fliers and seeks to conquer the other half. A special group of powerful wand users band together to fight back against overwhelming odds. Frequent battles and lots of action connected by a love story. Loved the ending.

It is a harry potter knock off with extra twists that keep it from being totally copyrighted and even though this happens its better than paying for a CHEAP knockoff-no offence

The book was a little confusing at first but then it started getting better. The characters were well thought out and the book was a good length of 680 pages. The only down side is the book ends in the middle of a battle and there is no sequel so we never fin out what happens. I recommend it because its an intresting book and free.

The ending kind of leaves you hanging other than that it is a good (no great) book i strongly recommend it

I had no idea what to expect from this book and author. The premise was great and the author has a flair with words. Unfortunately, I felt it was violent and graphic (though what stories about war aren't) and way too many storyline details. Be that as it may, I read the whole 683 pages. The ending leaves room for a sequel. I would say try it if you are into science fiction, just be aware there are some violent moments in the story.
