    A Must Read!!!!!!

    I am a fan of Victoria, I've read all of her books and she has helped me see things in my life, that I never really thought about and I must say this was the Biggest Eye Open especially the Epilogue. WOW, I highly recommend this book and also all her other books. Can't wait to see what she comes out with next.

    The Epilogue ALONE is powerfully thought-provoking!

    I am a new reader of Victoria Christopher Murray novels, and I must say that since "acccidentally" discovering her work via my NOOK two weeks ago, (beginning with "Temptations") I have downloaded and read SIX of her novels....in two weeks! As with the others, this novel does NOT dissapoint! The epilogue alone is such a powerful summary of many of the struggles that we deal with on a day-to-day basis, and how we usually fail to see "the devil in the details". I experienced an epiphany for a situation that I've been dealing with in my own life for the past year after reading the epilogue. I am now an official V.C.M. fan! Please excuse me while I go and download my next selction! Lol!

    This book was good. Think Indecent Proposal. Life is good, husband loses job, family falls on hard times, and a rich person proposes money to utilize husband for a weekend. Money will hook the failing family up as long as everyone handles their end of the deal. Of course, things fall apart.

    I love the way the author put the story together. I understand these type of tales have been told for years. The author does a good job introducing the Christian aspect without being preachy. You can't make a deal with the devil and think things will remain the same. The one thing I didn't like is that the pastor's wife in this story gave the worst advice ever. You get a little bit of bourgeoisie, ghetto, and everything else all wrapped up in one story.

    I like the main characters true connection albeit a tad unrealistic. Some character development was better than others. Money or the love it is the root of all evil. In this novel, we can see how its role affects the main characters. In all, it is an enjoyable story and it will keep you turning the pages.

    "Have I danced with Devil"

    I loved this book. It was so real, so today. It makes you look back at some events that have happened in your own life and wonder, "was that the devil"? Victoria really brought this one.

    Interesting story line

    This was a good book. It shows how material possessions can lead us to make unwise decisions if we leave God out of the equation. Be watchful. Evil lurks everywhere.

    Good Read

    This book has prompt a huge discussion on my job. When I told them the scenario we asked who would follow through with this plan and two of them says they would let their husband spend the weekend and get the money.
    But as we see in the book, the devil is busy and he does come in ways we think not.

    I believe that as children of God, no matter the situation, we just need to cry and trust in God for deliverance.

    Wow...

    This exceeded my expectations of being an Indecent Proposal-type book. A page turner I completed in a weekend. If my family would have left me alone so I could just read, I would have completed this in a day! Another good read by Victoria.

    good reading, sharpens your spiritual mind

    the book helps you to recognize that even going about your daily life, and things are going well, you must be aware of evil forces that may slip in and cause major harm

    Very slow

    This book progresses very slowly. The story line and title were very interesting to me, but the delivery is very slow. The author should have considered a sub plot in order to keep the reader interested while the main plot unfolds.

    Highly Recommended

    This is an awesome read! The story is representative of a lot of families lives' today and as you read, you can relate to the turmoil, tempataion, and the emotions. READ, READ, READ this book!!!!
