About the Author

James Hibbert has worked in a variety of jobs, none of them very skilled. In middle age, he studied with the Open University, mostly maths and most of which he has now forgotten. Later, he did some copy editing and proofreading, which he quite enjoyed. He self-published an ebook called So You Think Your English Is OK, the main aim of which was to encourage writers, native English speakers, to use their own language confidently. More recently, he self-published a novel, another ebook, for eight-to-twelve-year-olds. That's called Danny Leach's Diamond. James lives in Manchester, where he was born.
