Was not exactly what I thought it would be

Thought this would be something like dealing with rejection in relationships, etc. The focus is that one must choose to serve either God or self. If one fears the rejection of man more than the rejection of God, then one will serve self. If one desires the praise that comes from the world more than the praise that comes from God, then one will seek to please the world rather than God. Yet if one truly loves God, then one will not fear rejection by the world if it means hearing God say, 'Well done, good and faithful servant.' Am on the fourth reading... keep learning something more about myself each time. Convicting. Quite practical as well as profound.
