Overview

CeeCee Wilson hates her name.

Born two weeks after her paternal grandmother's death, CeeCee is the spitting image of her, and CeeCee's mother, Allison, devastated by the loss of her mother-in-law who was also her best friend, can't imagine any other name.

CeeCee fervently wishes her mother had possessed a bit more imagination.

Elsee Caitrin Wilson...a cow name in CeeCee's mind as well as the minds of her classmates.

As if that isn't enough for a child to handle, CeeCee and her family have to move the summer before she's to start high school, her father develops a disease that's slowly destroying his body as well as her universe, her older brother Mark becomes infatuated with the wicked witch of the southwest, the man she falls in love with loves another, and to top it all off, she can't seem to stop making lists.

Does God care? How can a loving God allow those things to happen? Is CeeCee losing her faith? Had she truly ever possessed any? Or is she simply a product of her parents' blind belief? What if everything she's been taught up until then has simply been a lie? What if God doesn't exist and it's all a hoax?

Transitioning into adulthood is painful for CeeCee as her anger, doubts, and despair overwhelm her at times, but in the midst of her unwilling journey from child to woman she finds the courage to face her life as well as herself with honesty and a determination to deal with the obstacles that have been thrown in her path.

Dear Diary...is the second book of the Dear Diary...Series.

This book is really well written. I could imagine exactly what the characters were doing and what they were feeling. I would say that teenagers can relate to this book, since the main character is in high school. I feel in love with the characters and could not put this book down. This is my all time favorite book and if you like Christian romance novels, you will absolutley love this book. This is the best free book available and you need to read it!

Might be too introspective for teens, but for adults it's a good read. Nice character development...not one-dimensional. I didn't want to put it down.

I loved the series.  The first book was the story of Allison and James, how they met and the beginning of their life together.  A beautiful story.  This book deals with CeCe and her life as a teenager and dealing with the loss of her father.  Do not want to give anything away , but I loved the story and the way it ended.

I couldn't put this book down. A good Christian romance. I must know what happened to Mark. He has to find true love. I applaud the author. This will be another of my favorites.

If i could read this book for the first time again i swear i would every day for the remainder of my life. It can't , literly can't get any better than this novel right here. I spent hours and tears in this book. I wanted a good read and i got one even better . I am so speachless. My heart is still wrenching with uncharted and uncontrollable feelings. Bless this writer they have a gift. I count on checking more of this Authors accomplishments. The book met every exceptation in unexcpected ways. I loved the twists , the turns, the curves ,and sharp edges. I would give anything to see this Author become famous to the world. I know i'm giving a crazy amount of praise but people realize this book is as good as i say it is i reccomend it entirely. Although i wished for a more ... How we all say "cheesy ending". This is SUPER-GIRL saying that she approves.

1000 pages, but most pages are short. YA Christian fiction. The editing is not bad. I had a lot of problems with this book. If a 24 year old man was chasing after my 16 year old daughter or grand daughter, I would tell him to hit the road, or get the police after him, if I needed too. Nick was always telling the MOTHER, daughter and his roomate what to do in this book and they fell all over themselves in graditude and jumped to obey, because Nick is always right. Very, very sexest attitude. About two thirds of the way through, the convoluted bit about the mother's family and friends was just plain contrived and silly. This book is sometimes very sad. It is about a girl's life from eighth grade, until she graduates from high school. There are no adult themes. I am not sure I would want my grand daughters to read this book. I would not want them to think it is okay to be in a relationship with a grown man and they must always think a man is right and their opinions do not matter. For girls, ages 15 and up.

Nothing to write home about, but an okay read. Not sure why it is characterized as a Christian novel - I do not - but again, it was okay; definitely not one of my favorite books or authors.
