Not the best source for helpful information

I appreciate the effort this author went to communicate to the 'world' what 'fibromites' suffer with on a day to day basis. However, I don't think this book is the best source to share with family and friends. This book seems to consist almost entirely of statements from people who have posted their thoughts and feelings on on-line mail lists. These statements have been categorized by various issues and thoughts but are still not cohesive enough. There is too much desperation and not enough explanation so others will really understand. I also have fibromyalgia and I struggle to explain to my family and friends what I experience, but I think this book would turn them off rather than enlighten them. A side note, as a very experienced reader, this book has an extraordinary number of typos and misspellings. I appreciate the effort this author took to bring this information to the 'world' but partnering with a good editor would likely have improved the content as well as the presentation.

The tragic truth from the real people who suffer from Fibromyalgia

I believe this to be the first book of its kind. The real truth about how it really feels to have Fibromyalgia and live with it everyday. This book was very easy to read and understand. You get the real truth behind the disease. It makes you feel like you are not alone. It is also very handy to give to a loved one who doesn't understand what you are going through. It give them a better idea of how terrible this invisable disease is. I would recomend this book to anyone. It should be the first book you read. There are many other Fibromyalgia books out there that are good too but none that I have read like this one.
