Great Background on Key Players! Meet My Zombie Book Boyfriend! Great Addition to the Series!

I admit, I'm a HUGE fan of author Tamara Rose Blodgett, but I really think that woman could make a grocery list spellbinding! Death Inception is a short story that gives some MUCH appreciated background about some of her more intriguing characters in the Death Series, which revolves around the lives of genetically enhanced teens and their 'gifts.' First, anyone who has read the series knows and loves Clyde the Zombie, but what about his life before? I will say nothing except he was all I could have hoped for!!! (Great job, Tamara!) Next comes Jeffrey Parker, a super-talented, super-intelligent, off-the-charts cadaver manipulator. Is he the dark, mysterious legend who runs with the bad guys? If so, what happened to bring him to that point? Is he as he seems as we learn his story?

Sometimes an author kicks out a book with background, and it plays out like a skip in a record (black vinyl disks, think pre-digital music) or a scratch on the counter. It's distracting, but not Death Inception, it fits seamlessly with the rest of the series and makes the characters even more life-like!

Tamara Rose Blodgett's writing style is refreshing, with the ability to make you laugh, cry, sigh, and still be thinking about the story and characters long after that last page. I just wish she would write faster!
