"Ten stories, two each from EQMM and AHMM, are highly varied apart from the common military connection, some bordering on science fiction, treating various periods, wars, and branches of services. One of the best short-story writers around, DuBois has a faultless touch."
Neil Lucas
"Death of a Gemini" is a collection of ten short stories with a military theme and emphasis. Brendan DuBois is an avid supporter of military people and this shows strongly in these selections. At times he gives an interesting twist on how the military command actually treats its individuals. The results aren't always as they seem, leading to an element of delicious mystery in these works.
