If you like interesting characters that make a story grow and if you like characters that have so much personality you can't wait til the next book comes out, then you should read Jo Hiestand.  This series is as good as her McLaren series, humorous, a little sarcastic with characters thinking the very thoughts I wish I would have said if I'd been able to think of the words.  Don't miss her books.

Death of an Ordinary Guy by Jo A. Hiestand is a well developed English mystery with refreshing new characters who literally come to life on the page. Her skillfull descriptions not only give the reader the full experience of life (and murder!) in a small English village, Ms. Hiestand uses them to heighten the mood and atmosphere and increase suspense. I look forward to additional books with Brenna, Graham, and the rest of 'the coppers.' Great story. Great characters. A must read for everyone who likes British Mysteries. Diana L. Driver
