Why would you even write that you haven't read the book so you can't write a review? Are you that desperate to see your words in print? I HATE people using the review forum as a personal blog or dating service!! Anyway----this is an awesome book and series. A great fantasy with believable characters, magic and action. The plot moves quickly and you will easily find yourself losing time as you become immersed in the story. If you are a fantasy lover, you will enjoy this book and will be anxious to move on to the rest of the series. I highly recommend this series.

So refreshing to read a fantasy book with a basis in reality! The main character isn't even pre-destined to do everything of any importance in the world. Fun world, fun story, best read I've had in a long time. Thank you!

It took me a couple of chapters to really get into the story. I enjoyed it, even though it is a tad predictable. While the author tried to give you some backstory to explain things, there isn't enough to make sense of what is happening some of time.
A little rough, a few typos, but overall a good story.

Great world building and characters in a series about humans with 18th century technology under immortal overlords. Part Michael Moorcock, part Lovecraft, this fantasy series is great fun.
