Another great book by Dana Marton. The second in her Broslin Creek series it stands completely alone but is set in the same location as the first with familiar secondary characters.

I must admit that romantic suspense hasn't usually been at the top of my reading list. But I got the first book free from Amazon and after I read it I had to keep going with the series. This book was just as good for me as the first.

The lead characters are both tortured by things from their past and the story kept me guessing until very nearly the end. I can't wait to start reading the next book.

I must say I have to agree with all the positive comments posted about this book on other sites. After reading it myself, I found them to be quite the same as my thoughts.
Dana Marton has the art of intriguing and keeping you in suspense til the very end. She had me biting my nails in some scenes, then anxious and sympathetic for Jack and Ashley in others. A -can't put down, page turner- book, for sure. Was easy to read and flowed nicely, good voice. When you thought you knew for sure who the killer was, another possible person looked suspicious of the crime. Enjoyed the romance between Jack and Ashley which didn't overpower the story, but progressed slowly into a nice relationship. I'd say this story was mystery, suspense and romance, in that order of intensity. Dana Marton is a new favorite author on my TBR list. I'm so happy to see she has many published books, which I'll be looking forward to reading next. Definitely keep an eye out for this author for your Romantic/Suspense reading pleasure.
I received this book for free for my honest opinion. I give it 4.5 stars

A must read!  You are so involved in this story you feel your there.  Ashley is a painter but only paints dead people.  People that are just turning up dead.  She starts painting a scene of a man buried alive.  She rushes to save him & at first he is anything but grateful.  He thinks she is in with the killer.  Don't want to give away the story but this is so good you don't want to put the book down till it's done.
