Meet the Author

Lee Banville is an assistant professor of journalism at The University of Montana. He joined the faculty after nearly 14 years at the Online NewsHour, the award-winning Web site for the PBS NewsHour. During his tenure at the NewsHour, he served as senior producer for the 2000 and 2008 editions of the Debating Our Destiny web site. He and his wife, Jule, a fellow member of the journalism faculty, live in Missoula, Mont. with their daughters Kate and Maggie.
