Overview

In this fast-paced sequel to the hot new action series, The Jake Stone Thrillers, Jake is lured into the underground Mexican compound of his deadly nemesis, Arianna Bradshaw, where he must choose between his love for Snowflake and saving his own skin. Helping him decide are three new butt-kicking female assassins, Sandy, Gumdrop and Penelope. Will Jake keep his cool and save the day, or will he once again find himself caught between warring factions in an ever widening international conspiracy of espionage and intrigue? Stay tuned!

"The second installment in the Jake Stone Thrillers may be even more rollicking and jaw-dropping than the first. Jake rides a roller coaster of gun battles, deadly karate fights and outright brawls in a wild race to reunite with his lovely but lethal friend, Snowflake, who remains as inscrutable, charming and ferocious as ever. Three new women add spice and intrigue to the story and keep the reader guessing which of them is really on Jake's side, and who is out to kill him. The Jake Stone books are pure, fun-filled entertainment." Theodora K.

"I grabbed the first novel, Deception, for $0.99 and started reading out of
curiosity- after a few pages, I couldn't put it down! Mr. Peters writes in a
very fresh, authentic style, and the characters have a real charm. The plot is
well developed and keeps the pages turning. I'm already buying the next few
books in the series. Do yourself a favor and check it out!" Tiger 03

"There's no question that Peters is a master wordsmith." Gerry B's Book Reviews

"T.L. Peters' way of writing is wonderful." Kyanara

Editorial Reviews

Linda A. Root
"The way to read this series is to start with Book One, and keep reading as long as Peters keeps on writing. If you hated the first book because you thought it was silly and sophomoric, then switch to something else. But if you noticed that there were subtleties beneath the surface and a sense of humor and style throughout, treat the books like a bag of good potato chips and don't expect to stop at one." Linda A. Root, author of the acclaimed novel, The First Marie and the Queen of Scots

    not recommended

both book one and two of Jake Stone was terrible - what a stupid, shallow character - the story line was very poor and not worth the time to read - you will not find any thing about these books that will keep you guessing. Very disappointed

    Medium recommendation

OK drama...exaggerated situations. Publisher - Grammatical errors (probably 10 in the course of the writing)
