Deceptively Yours is the second book in the Wanton Weston Women series by Wynter Daniels. While this story works well as a standalone, background information on the advice column and Laura’s sister is contained within the short story, Dear Annie.

I found myself able to easily relate to Laura. She was a down to earth, average ordinary person who was a bit of klutz at times. Guy was a sexy hunk who was not only tough enough to nail bad guys but tender and loving with Laura. They had great chemistry together and the sparks flew off the pages.

If I were to have one wish for this story, it would be the length. The plot involved not only the romance portion and the scenes where Laura gives her sister’s speech but also a lot of action and adventure with Guy tracking down drug kingpin Harry Turiano. With this being a novella, the action scenes involving Guy and Turiano in my opinion were not able to be developed to their full potential.

Overall, if you are looking for a steamy romance with a little bit of action thrown into the mix, you won’t be disappointed. I sincerely hope the author plans to write future stories about the rest of the Weston siblings.

Loved the story line - columnist Dear Annie is supposed to speak

Loved the story line - columnist Dear Annie is supposed to speak at a
convention, but she is actually very pregnant so her sister goes in her
place. What follows is pure delicious romance!

This is book 2 in the Wanton Weston Women series. In this book we have the Sister to Sex Columnist Annie,
Her name is Laura.  Laura is a shy bookish type. Laura is off to a Speaking event for her sister on a Tropical
Island.  She meets Guy and wow do the sparks fly between them.
We get some action, and some steamy scenes.
But is there a forever lasting love?  Pickup the book and find out !!!
Although I think this book can be read as a stand alone you should pickup  Dear Annie which is the first
book in this series. I highly recommend this book !!

    Good but not great

Plot was good. The ending was horribly rushed. Guy is there to catch an escapee but its an anticlimatic catch. Laura is there as a speaker as a favor to her sister, a sex columnist. She has no clue what shes doing. One minute she wants Guy, the next all men just love and leave her so why bother? Overall it was good and I would recommend it to others as long as they know not to wish for a detailed ending. Very anticlimatic.
