    Highly recommended

    This is the second book I have read by Jessica L. Degarmo. Both are outstanding in their ability to keep the reader hooked, and turning each page in anticipation. It is not always a comfortable read, and the relationship between the main character and her father can be quite upsetting. But her fight against his oppression and her search for happiness far outweighs this, as does her relationship with the two men who change her life. The writing is tight, and the way the story is told just makes you want to read on at the end of each chapter. I cannot recommend this author highly enough.
