El Dr. E. W. Kenyon (1867–1948) nació en Saratoga County, Nueva York. A los diecinueve años de edad predicó su primer sermón. Pastoreó varias iglesias en Nueva Inglaterra y fundó el Instituto Bíblico Bethel en Spencer, Massachusetts. (La escuela más adelante se convirtió en el Instituto Bíblico Providence cuando fue reubicada en Providence, Rhode Island). Kenyon sirvió como evangelista por más de veinte años. In 1931, he became a pioneer in Christian radio on the Pacific Coast with his show Kenyon’s Church of the Air, where he earned the moniker “The Faith Builder.” He also began the New Covenant Baptist Church in Seattle. In addition to his pastoral and radio ministries, Kenyon wrote extensively.

Born again at the age of twelve, DON GOSSETT (1929–2014) served the Lord in active ministry for sixty-six years as pastor, worldwide evangelist, missionary, and longtime broadcaster. He apprenticed with many well-known evangelists, including William Freeman, Raymond T. Richey, Jack Coe, and T. L. Osborn. Don’s many writings have been translated into almost twenty languages and have exceeded twenty-five million copies in worldwide distribution.
