Overview

One of the greatest mysteries in history started to unravel in 1945 when two peasants from the Town of Nag Hammadi Egypt traveled into the desert to dig for fertilizer. Here they found their own mystery and without knowing it let a genie out of a jug. This is a spirit so large that when it reaches its full growth it will encompass the whole world. As the peasants were digging, they struck an object. When they uncovered that object it was an ancient jug. At first they were afraid to brake into it for fear it might contain a genie. Curiosity and the hope the jug might contain a treasure finally overcame their fear, and they broke it open. What the jug did contain was a collection of old books from the early days of the Jesus movement. Those books are both the genie the farmers feared and the treasure of untold wealth they hoped to find. One of those books was, "The Gospel of Thomas." Here, in "Decoding the Gospel of Thomas," we will give birth to the Genie in the jug and reveal some of the great treasure that vessel contained. Come, I invite you to join me as we journey through the one hundred and fourteen sayings of Jesus contained in the, "Gospel of Thomas," and meet a Jesus, who has been hidden for sixteen hundred years. Here you will also meet the family you never knew you had, mother, father, sister and/or brother. Within you also you will find your inner child who is longing for you to give birth to it, regardless whether you are male or female. Travel with me as we cross the Egyptian desert and learn to tame a lion. Marvel while we gaze upon the mighty Sphinx and shout, "Now your ten thousand year old riddle is solved!" Here, as we unmask some of those hidden years of Jesus, we will learn some of the lessons he learned in Egypt studying in the temple of Isis. Find what he found hidden behind the veil of that goddess, within the holy of holies, both of which are a secret bride chamber where the self weds the Self and in the process conquers death. Mystery is the name of this game. Mysteries that go back to earliest human history. These are the same mysteries that are being revealed today through quantum physics and that discipline's relationship to spirituality. These are mysteries that exist within the wider world and mysteries hidden within the depths of your own psyche. No fictional mystery story can ever match this great nonfiction one. You may love this book, or you may hate it. One thing I can promise, you will not walk away from it with a ho-hum attitude.
