    EXCELLENT !

I'm not one for purchasing books of mostly pictures but this one is different. Not only is it filled with photos and interesting captions, but each photo can be read. There is that much to look at in each one. I can clearly visualize the blacksmith forming the intricate designs from the turn of the 19th century to today's fabricators laying out the design on a large worktable. Ms. Stuart breaks the heart when you 'hear' her remarks of returning to photo an old piece only to find it having been removed. For some of the pieces all we have left are these photos. Thank You Ms. Stuart for an outstanding document on another facet of art under or noses which typically goes un-noticed. History - its all around us.
