"We Will Rock You" is totally out of place on this otherwise charming release. Very jarring and upset the "night night" mode of the music.

My sister had this CD for her grandson and I loved it. Now that I am going to be a grandparent I just had to have it. I purchased 2 and gave one as a gift to a girlfriend and new grandma.

This is my absolute most favorite cd...hands down! I've been giving this away as baby gift, along with putting my son to bed with this music for quite some time now. Of all the music he listens to while getting ready for bed/naps, I can honestly say that this is his favorite. If I could give this cd 10 stars I would. It is an absolute must for new moms and dads!

I spent many a night rocking/nursing a baby to sleep by this music. It became the only way to calm down my colicky baby at home or on car trips. No one wants to hear crying for mile after mile. I just popped this CD in and like magic my baby was soothed. It worked for my second child as well. I have given this many times and have even "worn" one copy out. I don't know if it won a grammy in 1997 or not but it should have!

THIS IS DEFINITELY ONE OF MS. RONDSTAT'S BETTER ALBUMS. IT IS SO RELAXING AND SOOTHING TO LISTEN TO. SHE DOES A GREAT JOB WITH SOME OF THE OLD CLASSICS. WINTER LIGHT, GOOD NIGHT, AND DEVOTED TO YOU ARE ALL SUPER. I HAVE RECOMMENDED THIS TO SEVERAL OF MY FRIENDS AND THEY ARE ALSO "HOOKED" ON THIS ALBUM.

Throughout her career, Linda Ronstadt has always interpreted rock and pop classics, but Dedicated to the One I Love is different from the rest of her albums -- this time around, she reinterprets the oldies as children's lullabies. All of the songs are given lush, sweet, and soft arrangements, even when that approach is ludicrous; it might be a cute idea to deliver Queen's "We Will Rock You" as a rock-a-bye chant, but in practice it is simply ridiculous. Fortunately, most of the album relies on songs -- "Be My Baby," "In My Room" -- that can be sung as lullabies, and she sings them very well. Of course, the appeal of Dedicated to the One I Love is limited -- only...
