I just finished an advanced review copy of this book and was pleasantly surprised to see it listed here so soon. A DEDICATION has 'bestseller' written all over it. I absolutely loved the characters, but the story . . . wow! Readers of all ages will identify. I cried three times while reading it yet felt uplifted when I finished. The jacket says this is the first novel for John Zaiss. Please, Mr. Zaiss - write another.

This story has some fascinating characters that really touched my heart on many different levels. It's written in a unique perspective, one that people of all ages can relate to. This story is one of life lessons to be remembered, the characters really stay with you long after you are through reading the book. Get the tissues.
