I downloaded this book because I love dog stories, this is more than that, although the dog plays a pivotal roll in the story, It's about to Gay men lost and alone that find each other. I am heterosexual, and found the love/sex scene in the book a bit much, but realized that the love was there between the characters, I also loved how much the book portrays what homosexual people go through everyday dealing with so much hate and discrimination. Above all I found it a good read, the characters and the storyline was well developed.

RJ Scott is very good at getting into the heads of everyday characters and revealing unexpectedly interesting and likeable personalities. Very easy to read and enjoy.
