Ryder’s sexy and provocative third Unbroken Heroes contemporary romantic thriller (after Dare You to Run) proves that no good deed goes unpunished. Librarian Ginger Boyce, in New Orleans for a conference, meets a sweet little girl and offers to bring her a signed book by a favorite author. Meanwhile, special ops alpha male Saxon Hale is trying to hunt down the mysterious crime boss Raven. Their paths cross when Ginger, focused on her mission, unwittingly steps into Raven’s lair as he assassinates an underling. Ginger flees, assisted by white knight Saxon, and, the two of them draw close—even inexplicably indulging in a quickie wedding in Las Vegas while hit men are nearby. As the danger ratchets up, so does the intense attraction. Ryder’s intriguing plot is full of twists and turns, and there’s a compelling cast of supporting characters. As Ginger and Saxon’s story draws to a close, Ryder skillfully sets the stage for the next title in the series, ending with a bang rather than a whimper. Wow what a fast paced read full of action, bad men, hot men and romance. This is the third book in the An Unbroken Heroes series and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Though there was some violence in this book it is the kind that isn't in graphic detail so for me it is just the right amount. The authors attention to detail in describing emotions and the scenery gives the reader a full flavor to the story and will enthrall the reader like I was. Her ability to keep up the fast pace till the very end is impressive and she leaves a lot of space for future books with the way she ends the story. Saxon is a good guy with his head in all the right places but he is no match for librarian Ginger's hidden feistiness. I love this side of her personality and how she pushes Saxon's hot button ever chance she gets. Ginger is quite a surprise as she hides behind her librarian facade. Watching her inner strong girl come out is fun and rewarding. After reading and enjoying this book I want to go back to read Vitus's story, Dare You to Run book #2 of this series. Vitus is Saxon's brother and he certainly caught my attention with all the mentions of him and his wife. Received an advance reader copy in exchange for a fair review.

Ginger wanted some excitement in her life. Now she's in New Orleans for a librarian conference. Here is her chance to take a walk on the wild side. When she witnesses a murder, she becomes a target for a criminal mastermind, the Raven. Luckily Saxon Hale and some of his Shadow Opps force are there. Thanks to Saxon's quick wits, she's alive. Can he keep her safe? Saxon is a dedicated agent. He's determined to get the Raven and to track down ex-agent Tyler Martin who turned traitor. As Saxon protects Ginger, he fights their incredible chemistry. Do they stand a chance to find happiness? This exciting thriller kept me on the edge of my set. This story is filled with excitement and unexpected twists and turns. Saxon and Ginger make an amazing couple. She is strong and brave. She makes a great partner. Saxon is savvy agent. He will protect Ginger with his life. Their chemistry is combustible. The dialogue is witty and humorous. Their wacky wedding had me simultaneously laughing and biting my nails. I enjoyed the drama and the romance. The characters are well written and likeable. I wanted to know more about them. Dawn Ryder did an excellent job with this addition to the series, An Unbroken Hero. I can't wait for them to bring Tyler Martin to justice before he harms anyone else. A copy of this book was provided to me with no requirements for a review. I voluntarily read this book and my comments are my honest opinions.

This was a good read for me. The story is fast paced with lots of suspense and drama. The chemistry between Ginger and Saxon was steamy. I found the story entertaining and action packed. I really liked it.

Special ops and an adventurous librarian… This is the third book in the Unbroken Heroes series that can be read as a stand-alone though part of the storyline is a continuation from previous books. It’s taken a while for Saxon Hale and his special operations team to track down the elusive Raven to New Orleans. They’re staking the area out when he spots a gorgeous sexy woman headed directly toward the business that is of interest to them. His gut instinct tells him she shouldn’t be there, she’s an innocent heading into dangerous waters but there’s nothing he can do to stop her without blowing the team’s cover. It’s not long before shots are heard and the woman runs out of the establishment in desperate fear for her life. Saxon and his team jump into action, for the first time there might be a witness but they’ll have to get her out of the city alive, a city much controlled by the Raven’s organization. Away from home at a librarian conference Ginger Boyce is looking to really enjoy herself, a small escape from the bland boring life she normally leads. But bringing an autographed book to a stripper she’d met in a bar is taking adventure to an extreme. She unknowingly walks into the lair of killers and sees what she shouldn’t, the face of the Raven and what’s worse is that she not only recognizes who he is but is astonished by the identity. Running for her life she smacks into the sexiest commanding man she has ever met and she’s in luck, he’s one of the good guys. She wanted some adventure and she got some but you have to be careful what you wish for, this adventure could see her dead. This heroine, when she should be focused on saving her life keeps thinking about her sexy savior. Post-traumatic stress from the situation at work? Hard to accept what has happened? A way to cope with the adrenalin and fear running through her veins? All of the above and she’s never met someone like Saxon and this woman really likes what she sees. And it’s mutual, the hero is constantly fighting the distraction that she is, in his line of business he never thought he’d meet a woman so innocent yet captivating. Oddly enough they make an interesting pair, now they just need to survive. Can this over protective alpha keep the sassy librarian alive long enough to see if they could have something real? This read was fast paced, non-stop action from the opening pages that is a continuation of the suspense storyline from the previous books, we finally learn who the Raven really is. The amazing conspiracy that keeps playing out reaches to the highest levels of government, there are explosive twists and turns to keep the reader guessing and this reader is dying to know how it all finally resolves. This was great romantic suspense, interesting characters with strong chemistry and amusing dynamics. An advanced reading copy was obtained from the publisher via NetGalley. 4.5 stars

Deep Into Trouble 'Deep Into Trouble' by Dawn Ryder is book Three in the "Unbroken Heroes" series. This is the story of Saxon and Ginger. I have not yet read the other two books so for me this was a standalone book. Ginger is a self proclaimed 'nosy person' which has lead her into become a librarian and research person. It has also lead her into trouble where she witnessed a murder that she is now being hunted by the murders to take her out. Saxon loves the thrill of the hunt and is in New Orleans on a mission that is leading him t take down Raven. But Ginger walks into his mission and now he is having to keep her safe. But Saxon is also having strong feelings for her and she for him. Ginger was a hoot! I loved how she made Saxon feel and how he changed some around her. This book had the excitement, some humor and a great main characters that I feel in love with! "My honest review is for a special copy I voluntarily

4.5 stars--DEEP INTO TROUBLE is the third installment in Dawn Ryder’s contemporary, adult UNBROKEN HEROES romantic, suspense series focusing on an elite Shadow Ops team. This is Navy SEAL Saxon Hale, and librarian/researcher Ginger Boyce’s story line. DEEP INTO TROUBLE can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from previous story lines is revealed where necessary although some of premise continues from earlier reads. Told from several third person perspectives including Saxon and Ginger, DEEP INTO TROUBLE is a story of murder, intrigue, corruption, power and love. Ginger Boyce found herself in the wrong place at the wrong time-a witness to a murder, our heroine is on the run with a man she knows nothing about. Enter Shadow Ops agent Saxon Hale, the man who will protect Ginger with his life, and the man who finds himself falling for the woman who calls to his heart. What ensues is the building relationship between two people whose lives will be tied together-‘for better or for worse-thank you, thank you very much’; the search for a crime boss known as the Raven; and the struggle to stay one step ahead of Washington DC’s power elite. Once again, political aspirations and the ultimate battle for control are front and center in a story line where one woman is caught in a power struggle with the nations political powerhouse. Saxon’s team of Shadow Ops soldiers can no longer trust the people in charge as their safe houses are compromised within minutes of arrival. The relationship between Saxon and Ginger is one of immediate attraction but Saxon knows that to get involved with a ‘job’ means placing Ginger in the line of fire. Not only do our couple find themselves saying ‘I do’ but the prospect of a happily ever after may never come to fruition if Saxon and his team cannot protect the woman he loves. The $ex scenes are intimate, intense and seductive without the use of over the top graphic language and text. Once again, there is a very large ensemble cast of secondary and supporting characters who play intricate roles throughout the story. Saxon’s brother Vitus returns to help protect his brother and the woman with whom Saxon has fallen in love. We are introduced to team member Captain Bram Magnus whose story will be told next. DEEP INTO TROUBLE is a fast paced, action packed story of intrigue and power; romance and love; family, friendship and a happily ever after. The premise is addicting; the romance is provocative; the characters are colorful, dynamic and real. DEEP INTO TROUBLE is the perfect read for fans of romantic suspense where the struggle to survive is a battle until the end.

If I could give this book more stars I would! IT WAS AWESOME. I lived the story with the characters. Dawn Ryder/Mary Wine is excellent at painting the picture and making the characters real. I wanted to be Ginger Boyce. She is this small town librarian at a conference in New Orleans with her best friend. They like to have fun little daring adventures. Boy does she find out what she's really made of when she tries to give an autographed book to a "nice" woman they met at a bar. She accidentally witnesses a murder by the mysterious Raven who runs a major underground empire. She is rescued by Special Agent Saxon Hale, leader of the shadow ops team who have been trying to find and arrest the Raven. This starts the tangled adventure to keep Ginger alive and take down the Raven, former special agent Tyler Martin and expose the connection with congressman and presidential hopeful Carl Davis. This adventure is full of tech, hide and seek, and political under cover operations. Wow, just wow. I can't wait to dig into the next one as she had me guessing and intrigued the whole way. Thank you St. Martin's for allowing me to ARC read and review this fabulous story!

3.5 - "Bring it." Stars! The third book in Dawn Ryder’s Unbroken Heroes series, finally gives us Saxon Hale’s Story. If you haven’t read the previous two books I would highly recommend you do before you start Deep Into Trouble as this isn’t a book you will understand otherwise. Just like the previous books, there is a huge amount of story going on with numerous POV’s, as well as dozens of characters some known and some new additions in the telling of this particular part of the story. He couldn’t get personal with her, she was his witness… Although enjoyable this is my least favourite of the series so far, but I only have one gripe really, in that I never really felt any connection between Saxon and Ginger until the very latter stages of the book, yes the sexy-times between them were hot, Dawn writes that really well, but together outside of that I really didn’t feel anything from them as a couple, they sort of went from zero to sixty without any real reasoning as to why initially. "Think before you lie to me, Saxon Hale… No man crosses that line in my book." Saxon has been a dark, secretive and brooding character throughout the story so far, and with the case against the elusive Raven and presidential nominee Carl Davis becoming more twisted, the last thing he is really looking to deal with is a witness that was in the wrong place, albeit at the right time in relation to his investigation, especially if said witness pulls all-sorts of emotions from him that he in the past has never really felt. "I’m not a nice guy… There isn’t anything for you in my world except danger. You believe in happy-ever-afters, honey. They don’t exist in my world… I’m no good for you." Ginger wasn’t afraid to stand up to our alpha hero in this respect, and I liked her sass with him on that front, Mr. Hale isn’t one used to anyone, especially women answering him back and questioning his actions. And around their fleeing the bad guys, things get more complex between Carl, turncoat Tyler Martin and Saxon’s boss, Kagan. Again I reiterate, you really need to read the previous books to understand what happens in this installment. "You bring out the best in me." As with all great Romantic Suspense series, while some questions are answered, others are raised, and more revelations are tossed into the mix, and I am looking forward to seeing which direction the fourth book; Take to the Limit (due for release in August) goes in relation to things that were revealed in the end stages of this story. I also hope that the finished book is fully edited/spell-checked before publication as well, because there were a number of wrongly used words in the ARC, one had me chuckling for quite a while, when instead of resting her weight on her elbows, she used her eyebrows if true I think Ginger has huge potential as a circus performer in future books! **this is a voluntary review of an advanced copy of the book.

Deep Into Trouble is a great addition to the Unbroken Heros Series and totally hits the ground running. This story is thrilling and filled with lots of action and suspense. There seriously is never a dull moment. Deep Into Trouble is told from multiple points of view, but follows the story of Ginger and Saxon. Saxon loves nothing more than hunting and taking down the bad guy. For his latest mission, he will be brought to New Orleans, the city where everyone lives to party….That is except for Saxon. Saxon has a job to do and he’s close to completing it…Only he’s run into an unexpected complication; Ginger. Ginger is tired of being so innocent and when she finds herself in New Orleans for a conference, she decides to take a walk on the wild side. She had no way of knowing that she was about to put herself in all kinds of danger and trouble. She’ll soon need protection from the dark forces around her. But, when it comes to Saxon, she’s about to get more than she bargained for…. Overall, I really enjoyed this book. While this story is the third in its series, it can totally be read as a stand-alone novel. As far as pacing goes, this story hit the ground running and for this type of story, I think the fast pace suited it. I found the characters to be intriguing and looked forward to seeing what was going to happen next with them. I easily devoured this book in one sitting. Deep Into Trouble hit all the marks for an entertaining read. It was filled with lots of danger, action, suspense, romance and of course sexy good times! Overall, an enjoyable read.

I have not read the previous books in this series, and though it ’s considered a stand alone, I suspect starting with book 3 affects how I feel about the book. The story centers around Ginger Boyce, a librarian in New Orleans for a convention , who ends up being at the wrong place at the wrong time when she witnesses a murder. Saxon Hale is our other main character. He works in law enforcement and he and his team are in New Orleans searching for RAVEN, a murdered deep in the underworld. They end up together when he and his team rescue her, and need to keep her safe, since she is the witness that will help them crack their case. Needless to say, they have lots of chemistry from the moment they meet. Through out the story, they have lots of sex, there is suspense etc. My problem was that there were a slew of characters, the story kept jumping around, and at times it was hard to keep track of the plot. That I found distracting. Though I have to say, the main characters were likable. I was gifted this book by Netgalley. The opinions expressed are solely my own.

Completely enjoyed this action packed book! Saxon and Ginger's story is fantastic and while it's the third in the series it easily stands on its own. Undercover operative Saxon is hot on the heels of a crime lord known as "Raven" when he stumbles upon Ginger. Ginger is a good girl in the wrong place at the wrong time but now that she's in danger Saxon knows he has to keep her safe. There's lots of adventure, a bit of humor, and a steamy romance on the pages of this book and I think you will definitely enjoy it. I highly recommend.

LOVED! This is fast paced romantic suspense at its best. Ginger is a librarian attending a conference in New Orleans and wishing her life weren't so boring and bland. We've all heard the saying that you should be careful what you wish for, well Ginger fully grasps that lesson very quickly. Ginger is attempting to deliver a book to a woman that she met and is allowed into a bar's back room just in time to see a dead man kill someone. Stunned, she tries to flee when another man grabs hold of her and helps her escape. They are thwarted at every turn and don't know who to trust. Getting off Bourbon Street is only the beginning and the bad guys are hot on their trail. Almost non-stop action follows along with a bit of romance. Fans of the genre will love this book. While it is part of a series, this is a stand alone novel. I have added the author to my must read authors' list.

Deep into Trouble by Dawn Ryder Unbroken Heroes #3 At a convention, doing a good deed, having fun – then – suddenly eyewitness to a murder – Ginger Boyce is in trouble. Saxon Hale and his team, on the job in New Orleans looking for The Raven, are there to give Ginger a helping hand because the murder she saw will put away the man they are after. But, nothing is easy in this story. Who is evil and who is not and are there some that straddle the line between good and evil? How does a person know who to trust? Ginger is not your usual ditzy soft heroine but instead a smart, sassy, strong woman who wants to be a help rather than a hindrance. She knows what she wants and is not afraid to go after it. No matter what comes her way, Ginger manages. Saxon and his team are impressed. With assassins, snipers, corrupt politicians, mafia-types, good guys and some that are questionable this turned out to be an interesting read – so interesting that I could not put it down. I had a feeling it was part of a series but not having read the first two books was not a problem. I came away glad that Ginger and Boyce got their HEA and wondering what will happen in book four. Thank you to NetGalley and St. Martin’s Press for the ARC. This is my honest review. 4 Stars

4 Action Packed Stars! You really have to have a love of action and suspense to enjoy this book. From the first chapter on, the story took off. There is a lot going on and quite a few characters to keep up with. This is the third in the series, so there is reference to actions taken in previous books. Despite starting in the middle of the story, I was able to keep up and still enjoy the chase we are lead on when Saxon takes Ginger and runs with his team. They are trying to keep her alive after witnessing a murder committed by a crime boss who is suppose to be dead. This book ends with little pieces meant to get you ready for the next book in the series. I would recommend reading the books in order. While I enjoyed this book and the main characters, I didn't have enough knowledge of the other characters that could have made this book even more exciting to read if I had their background. ARC provided by NetGalley.
