Overview

From choosing a weapon to placing the meat on your plate, this book covers every basic element of deer hunting that you should need to be successful in your endeavors. The author has chosen select portions of his hunting regime to share with the reader so they too will have the tools necessary to partake in the fruits of their labor. This is a great book for a person who has never hunted before or an amateur who wants to learn more about hunting. It gives you an excellent overview on all categories of getting started, how to prepare, how to track, the hunt, after the hunt, and tips along the way as well as some personal stories. This book could very well get you into the woods looking for your first deer. I would personally recommend more reading material and just like the author recommends, Practice, Practice, Practice.

This was an outstandingly helpful book that teaches you all about deer hunting through experience rather than theory. The fact that the author is friendly and honest about his experiences makes this book better than others I have read.

When I ordered this book, I thought I might be lucky enough to pick up one or two pointers but after reading it, I found that I was SO out of touch on many points in the deer hunting process. I plan on taking this book with me when I hunt just so I can refer back to it while Im in the woods! What a great idea this guy had and what great knowledge he is willing to share! Buy it - you wont be disappointed!
