    Giffen Bwah-Ha-Ha's for Marvel!

Anyone familiar with Keith Giffen, J. M. DeMatteis, and Kevin Maguire's run on Justice League for DC should be well aware of their unique take on superheroes. Basically, they manage to take heroes you are used to seeing, plant them in a superhero club house type atmosphere, and make them fun!

The interesting aspect to their work, however, is that while they make them fun, they also make them extremely human. You can sympathize with them while laughing out loud, basically because these heroes are acting in ways that most people would.

Giffen and DeMatteis have such a strong feeling for these characters, they understand their motivations and why they act the way they do. And Maguire's knack for facial expressions can't be beat!

If you're looking for a fun read that's not overly continuity-driven, give this book a try!
