Meet the Author

Hugh White is a professor of strategic studies at Australian National University and a visiting fellow at the Lowy Institute of International Policy. He is a former journalist for the Sydney Morning Herald and a former deputy secretary for strategy and intelligence in Australia's Department of Defence.
