Attention ALL Women, a MUST READ!

I was blessed to have Prill Boyle attend the Pulpwood Queen Book Clubs that I run as our BONUS Book Club Selection for November. You may think that this book is just for women over forty but I want my teenage daughters to read it! I was a late-blooming woman and even writing this just now I get an adrenaline rush from the 12 women's stories plus the authors journey to find her gift as an author. This is her first book and may not ever get the push that is it due. But if I have anything to do with it, I am on a one woman crusade to make this read by every woman that I can tell. My Pulpwood Queens felt we had had a spiritual experience in meeting Prill and her book confirms my statement that 'reading can enlighten, educate, entertain, and take us places we may have only have dreamed.' Kathy L. Patrick Founder of The Pulpwood Queens Book Clubs

    What's Holding You Back?

Defying Gravity is true-grit stories of resolute women who, in later years, began or changed careers. These women loved their families, some stayed home and raised kids, and some defied life¿s odds, but they each remembered their dreams and eventually proved to themselves and others that they could achieve them. I fully embraced parenthood staying home to raise my children. When they were in high school and I was in my forties, I began a new learning curve - writing. Today I'm the author of Parenting Power in the Early Years, a columnist and freelance writer. And I hope 'to make a difference' or as the author says, 'to leave a seed of ourselves behind to germinate in future generations.' Maybe my children will see that you CAN have it all - just not all at once. I read every drop of this exciting book from the Dedication to the Appendices and found it to be candid, vulnerable, valuable, and motivational reading that challenged me to see beyond age. Whether you're young or are retirement age your 'book of life' is only half-written and you can still fill its pages by soaring into your dreams. What's holding you down? This book is powerful and moving! One to read and share with friends. What's holding you back from buying it?
