    I Also Recommend:

    Disappointing

Having grown up in Alaska, I was disappointed in both the character development and the setting. I felt both were very basic when Alaska offers such a rich setting and variety of personalities. This book seemed to focus on the earthquake as a "hook", but really didn't do justice to it through its descriptions. The author, while she lives in Alaska, does not seem to be "of" Alaska.

    Sue Henry Books

These are great books, both for mystery afficiandos and those wanting to learn more about Alaska. The first book, Murder on the Iditarod Trail, gave so much insight to that famous race and what those people go through. I have enjoyed every one of the books and look forward to the next,

    more from this reviewer

    Really liked it!

The characters were different. This is a nice change from the typical ME/detective/PI mysteries I read. Looking forward to others from Henry!
