Angelica returns to Fayetteville, N.C., but desperate for a change, moves to New York to stay with a distant cousin-in-law; before long, however, she runs into Santiago and finds not only that she can't escape her past, but that she's drawn her loved ones into a dangerous situation. An enjoyable, sexy thriller, this sequel doesn't require familiarity with the first volume to follow or enjoy, but readers who know what they're in for will be more likely to forgive awkward pacing and dialogue, some mismatched motivation and sketchy characters.     A GREAT READ

    I ENJOYED READING THIS BOOK. I JUST FINISHED READING A LOVE SO DEEP BY THIS SAME AUTHOR, AND WAS TRUELY SURPRISE BY THE BOOK. I LOVED IT. SO WHEN I SAW THIS IN THE LIBRARY I SAID I HAVE TO GET IT. I WAS SO GLAD THAT I DID. I WAS NEVER BORED READING THIS BOOK. COULD NOT WAIT TO GET TO THE ENDING. EVEN THOUGH THIS IS A SEQUEL, WHICH I DIDN'T KNOW AT FIRST I NEVER FELT LIKE I WAS MISSING ANYTHING BY NOT READING THE FIRST BOOK. GREAT JOB MS. PERKINS. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT. ENJOY.......
