Dori's first real adventure begins when she smells a dragon in human form at Wal-Mart. He recognizes her for what she is and the chase in on. First for her, but then she and Jiji give chase to him before he has a chance to eat a human for the energy gained. Can they prove to the Legion, the angel faction that sponsors the Guard, that they are worthy of their support? Meet the Author

Linda A. B. Davis lives in the panhandle of Florida dodging hurricanes and swatting mosquitos with her husband and daughter. They are all graciously tolerated by three dogs and three cats, the power of three doing its best to even things out.

Linda's speculative fiction can be found in two DAW Books anthologies and other various print and electronic science fiction and fantasy venues.
