Dori and Jiji are dragon hunters, demon hunters really since dragons are the topside form that demons take when they want to wreak havoc and destruction on humans. Dori and Jiji are members of the Guard, the human organization devoted to keeping Earth clean of demonkind.

Dori's first real adventure begins when she smells a dragon in human form at Wal-Mart. He recognizes her for what she is and the chase in on. First for her, but then she and Jiji give chase to him before he has a chance to eat a human for the energy gained. Can they prove to the Legion, the angel faction that sponsors the Guard, that they are worthy of their support? Can Dori find it in herself to do what needs to be done, both for the Guard and for Jiji? Check out the story to see if Dori and Jiji can defeat a demon of Hell in a dragon suit.

Meet the Author

Linda A. B. Davis lives in the panhandle of Florida dodging hurricanes and swatting mosquitos with her husband and daughter. They are all graciously tolerated by three dogs and three cats, the power of three doing its best to even things out.

Linda's speculative fiction can be found in two DAW Books anthologies and other various print and electronic science fiction and fantasy venues. She holds a Master's degree in print journalism but switched over to writing fiction as it her love. She also volunteers as Managing Editor for AnthologyBuilder.
