Meet the Author

Five years ago, Lynn Kelling spontaneously started writing and hasn’t stopped since. It all started with the desire to take a closer look at behaviors and ideas lurking at the fringes of life – basically anything that people may hesitate to speak of in mixed company, but everyone wonders about anyway. She is drawn to that which some may consider to be taboo – the darker and wilder the better – in order to expose the humanity within it. Our most telling moments are conveyed through intimacy and that which makes us feel vulnerable, powerful, or both, and so what could be more intriguing? Lynn is an artist and lover of any form of creative self-expression that comes from a place of honesty and emotion, whether it’s body art or opera. She works as a multimedia designer in the Philadelphia area where she lives with her husband and two children.

    more from this reviewer

I was pleasantly surprised by this book. I read it reluctantly

I was pleasantly surprised by this book. I read it reluctantly at the insistence of a friend and, in a world marred by Fifty Shades of Gray, I was less than enthused. My pleasant surprise was how I became absorbed in the world of Deliver Us. This, of course, was after my initial shock of the material. If you did not read the description it contains the following 1) A lot of gay sex, 2) A lot of bondage. I am not ashamed to admit that I blushed and crossed my legs through the majority of this book.

Lynn Kelling supersedes the traditional erotic genre in that she completely understands the inherent psychology of both a gay man and world of BDSM. She richly illustrated the complex rules and mores of this very complicated world and then, through the characters of Darrek Gabriel, completely breaks them. You feel the every crack of the while and every loving caress in detail. And that's just chapter one. By chapter 10 you are wishing for Gabriel or a Darreck to fall into your life - whips, chains, emotional baggage and all.

This book is not for the faint of heart, but if you are willing, then cross your legs and take this erotic adventure
