This Arabian Nights-flavored short story is fast and entertaining. Great world-building and sympathetic characters, plenty of action, and one narrow escape make for a fun read. My only complaint is that there were several glaring typographical errors. I really hope that Bellet returns to these characters in the future. Highly recommended to fans of Erzabet Bishop, Jolene Dawe, Cynthia Eden, and Ilona Andrews. -- lyradora

This was a very good short story, approx. 20ish pgs. I think the cover is a little misleading. The story is fast paced and filled with action. Not a lot of character development, but it's short. The story is about a young woman, who helps a princess. I don't want to give too much away. It was a very good story and I would recommend checking out other books by Ms. Bellet as I have!

Enjoyed this story, but I would like to see it expanded. There are many unanswered questions; the background could be extended upon. Worth the read.
