Overview

"Born of the U.S. government's 1928 raid on the degenerate coastal town of Innsmouth, Massachusetts, the covert agency known as Delta Green spent four decades opposing the forces of darkness with honor, but without glory. Stripped of sanction after a disastrous 1969 operation in Cambodia, Delta Green's leaders made a secret pact: to continue their work without authority, without support, and without fear. Delta Green agents slip through the system, manipulating the federal bureaucracy while pushing the darkness back for another day—but often at a shattering personal cost."

Ten years ago, everything changed. It's time you found out how.

It's January 2001. The Delta Green agents code-named Cyrus and Charlie get the call: A young boy dead and buried for years has reappeared, healthy and happy, as if no time at all had passed and the disease that killed him had never been. The family thinks it's a miracle, but Delta Green has seen too many miracles turn to madness. Cyrus and Charlie must discover what horrors lurk behind this one. The mission brings them to the brink of apocalypse -- to the edge of the revelation and destruction of Delta Green -- to secrets and terrors at the heart of reality itself.

Meet the Author

Dennis Detwiller is an award-winning writer and artist whose work has appeared in a number of prominent publications over the past ten years. He has been the art director for Pagan Publishing since its beginnings in 1991, and in 1994 he co-created Pagan Publishing’s acclaimed Delta Green with John Tynes and Adam Scott Glancy. He received the prestigious Origins Award for Best Game Supplement of 1996 for Delta Green, and again for 1999′s Delta Green: Countdown. He also won Origins Awards for Magic: The Gathering — Homelands(Best Card Game Supplement, 1997) and The Hills Rise Wild (Best Board Game, 2000).

In late 2001, he released the original role-playing game Godlike: Superhero Roleplaying in a World on Fire, 1936-1946. With its remarkable depth of history and characterization, and innovative game mechanics by Greg Stolze, Godlike immediately captured industry and fan attention and critical acclaim. A sequel of sorts, the RPG Wild Talents, appeared in late 2006; a second edition was published in 2008.

Dennis’s work has also appeared in various Call of Cthulhusupplements, Call of Cthulhu d20, Magic: The Gathering, Polyhedron, The Unspeakable Oath, Hogshead Games: New Style Line, Castle Falkenstein, Fangoria, Shadowfist, Mythos and elsewhere.

As a videogame designer, Dennis helped conceive, script and develop Sierra Entertainment’s [Prototype], along with other titles for Radical Entertainment. Dennis is now a videogame designer for HotHead Games.
