The lap Desk was too big for me. When I put it in my lap it went beyound my knees. I could not keep in in my lap. I am only 5 ft tall so that may have been part of the problem. It was sturdy and I really wished I could have used it. If they make a smaller one I will give it a try.

This is a wornderful comfortable lap desk with a very handy pocket in the back for storage. It helps your laptop not to overheat and it is very lightweight.

I've enjoyed the functionality of this. The wrist rest helps keep the laptop in place and works well for my 15" laptop. Bigger sized laptops will have a problem. On the downside, the beads in the padding underneath have become very flattened so the plastic sides now dig into my legs unless I position it just right. The plastic has also now cracked apart where the wrist wrest meets the flat part of the desk so I don't expect it will last much longer as the crack is getting larger each day. I've had it about a year so maybe it's only supposed to last that long?

Bought this lap desk for a flat surface to hold my laptop when sitting on the couch and to allow the computer fans to cool rather than heat up on my lap. It is too small for my laptop. Where the flat desk portion meets the wrist rest it is slanted so if I'm not sitting absolutely flat then my computer slips up over the edge and slides over the wrist rest. Also if I'm not sitting with the lap desk cushions completely flat on my legs then the plastic digs into your skin. You have to be sure to keep it completely even or it's very uncomfortable. I'm returning this lap desk and will be choosing one with a larger surface. The wrist rest is nice but will be looking for one with a lip rather than a slanted transition. And one with fuller padding underneath that covers any exposed bottom that can dig into my legs when I prop up at an angle. I do not recommend this design.

I actually like the large size of the desk (I have a 13" nb) however my laptop slides all over.  The padded surfaces which I thought were supposed to have grip to keep your laptop from moving everywhere have none - zero grip.  So if I tilt or need to move things, I need to hold on to the laptop.  So, I guess it just depends what you're looking for.

Sturdy. While comfortable, it could be improved if the bottom was all padded.

Just brought this home and am using it with my 15 inch laptop. I thought it would be comfortable with the cushioned back, but the weight is all now feeling like it is just above my knees, and it feels very uncomfortable . I am glad I did not rip off the wrapper. It is going back.
