Sometimes fantasies come true. And then you have to fight for them.

Kat Walker is just a lowly analyst, content to produce spreadsheets and charts for Ermine Navigation's finance department. Shy and awkward with a full, curvy body, she's been hurt too many times to believe that dreams can come true.

Brett Carmack is Ermine's billionaire CEO and founder. Despite his calm, confident manner, the former fighter pilot is utterly unprepared for the subtle backstabbing of the corporate world.

When Kat's analysis hints at a plot to plunder the company's assets, she draws Brett's attention in more ways than one. Things heat up as Brett and Kat surrender to their mutual attraction and take a wild risk that could mean the end of her career... and his company.

Kat fell into his arms and opened her lips as their mouths came together. He kissed her harder this time, and his hands moved up and down her back, still full of hunger but free of uncertainty. A heady sensation flowed through her body, mingling with the buzz of expensive wine to wash away her inhibitions, and Kat kissed back, wrapping her arms around his neck. She raked her fingers through his close-cropped black hair, savoring the taste of him as their tongues intertwined.

Brett kicked the door shut behind him and pushed Kat deeper into her home. His kisses propelled her down the narrow hallway and past the small kitchen where she'd cooked far too many meals for one. A single lamp cast its dim light over the old brown sofa littered with half-folded laundry.

"Sorry about the mess," Kat murmured between kisses, painfully aware of how slovenly she must seem.

"All I can see is you," Brett said. There was nothing calm about him now. His mouth moved down the side of her neck, full of fiery hunger. His hot breath on her skin made Kat shudder as a tingle of desire raced through her body, sparking a warm ache between her legs.

His hands squeezed her buttocks, then moved around front and swept up over the curve of her belly. He pushed her suit jacket down over her shoulders and tossed it on the arm of the couch, knocking off a pile of t-shirts in the process.

Kat's big breasts strained against her blouse and threatened to burst out of the white bra she wore underneath. When Brett's hands squeezed them through the silk cups, she let out a trembling sigh and felt her knees go weak. She tried to unbutton her shirt, but he pushed her hands away and tore it open, sending buttons flying across the room. One clinked against an empty wine glass on the coffee table with a musical chime.

"I'll buy you a new shirt," Brett promised, but Kate hardly cared. All her attention was on the feeling of his smooth, strong hand as it slid around her back to unclasp her bra.

"Wait," she said. "Not with the light on."

Brett raised his head and frowned at her. "What? Why?"

Kat's face turned a bright scarlet. "I... I just... I mean, look at me. I don't want you to see me naked."

Brett's eyes swept down over her curves, and he seemed genuinely puzzled. "Why not? There's only one thing I want more right now than to see you naked, and I'm hoping that will happen shortly after."

Kate's face went from red to purple. Didn't he understand that she was sensitive about her weight? She didn't have Miriam's perfect body and never would. "I... what if you don't like what you see?"

"Oh, Kat," Brett said. "Don't you have any idea how beautiful you are?" He reached behind her back again and opened the clasp, then slid the straps of her bra down off her shoulders. Her ripe melons tumbled free, pale and soft. Large nipples stood out dark and pink at their tips, already puckered by the thrill of his touch.

Brett looked down at her, his eyes full of a hunger that no man could fake. His hands moved admiringly over her naked bosom, then swept down over her waist and pulled her close, crushing her breasts against his hard, muscular chest. Something pressed against the curve of her belly, a bulge in his trousers that pulsed with insistent need.

Kat felt her embarrassment melt away as he kissed her again, and she pulled his shirttail free of his pants. Before he could touch the buttons, she curled her fingers in the front and tore it open. Brett gave her a shocked look, but Kat just smirked. "Don't worry," she said. "I'll buy you another one."
