Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2003 im Fachbereich Politik - Didaktik, politische Bildung, einseitig bedruckt, Note: Noten wurden nicht erteilt, Johann Wolfgang Goethe-Universität Frankfurt am Main (Professur für Didaktik der Sozialwissenschaften und des Politischen Unterrichts), Veranstaltung: Politische Bildung in der Primarstufe - emokratie innerhalb und außerhalb des Klassenzimmers, 11 Quellen im Literaturverzeichnis, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Bei den Wörtern „Ritual" und „Regel" kommen bei den meisten Menschen negative Gefühle auf. Man verbindet mit Ritualen und Regeln Vorschriften, die die persönliche Freiheit einschränken, disziplinieren und unterdrücken. Rituale haben den Ruf von automatisierten Verhaltensabläufen, die einem von außen aufoktroyiert werden - Handlungen, die Ordnung, Disziplin und Verhaltensnormen trainieren und einüben wollen. Gerade ältere Menschen denken bei Ritualen in Bezug auf die eigene Schulzeit hauptsächlich an negative Disziplinierungsmaßnahmen, wie das Aufstehen, wenn der Lehrer die Klasse betritt.
Die Bedeutung von Ritualen Regeln in der Pädagogik hat sich aber jedoch grundlegend geändert. Rituale und Regeln werden als gemeinschafts- und demokratiefördernde Maßnahmen gesehen und haben Einzug in den Schulalltag von vielen Schulen gefunden.
