    I Also Recommend:

    Completely worth it!

I absolutely fell in love with Demon Diary after the first volume and now I have all of the books. Raenef is absolutely as loveable as he is ignorant, which makes him even more adorable than he was to begin with. Eclipe's dark aura lightens throughout the books, though he firmly beleives "THERE'S NOTHING LIKE A LITTLE DEATH AND DESTRUCTION TO TAKE THE EDGE OF. heh, heh..."

Fun, pure and simple. Memorable characters, great art, enjoyable story. There is humor, friendship and loyalty as well as other themes touched upon further into the series. All with a lighter touch though. This isn't a dark and dreary work in the least, but neither is it shallow fluff.

    WONDERFUL!!!!

this manga was great! since i loved to draw and paint, the artwork(naturally) caught my eyes. i took if off the rack and flipped through the first few pages and was drawn to the artwork and the confusing storyline. at first i thought that the main charater, Raenef, was a girl, but found out that she was a he after a couple of pages(i also read the back of the book to make sure). anyway, this is one of the mangas i highly recommend!

    comedy is an understatement!

Oh my god. The first time you read the manga it confuses you, even me a very big bookworm. For some reason i just happened to stumble upon this manga at a music store and i continued to look at it before finally purchasing it at a bookstore a year later. Yes i am that hopeless. Well if you love comedy and like to see the characters do crazy and stupid things that totally don't fit with them, then i ask you one thing, WHY HAVE YOU NOT READ THIS MANGA YET?!?!?!!?

Loves manga and can't get enough

This is a must read book if you are interested in a drawn out plot. The characters are interesting but at first glance Reneaf looks like a girl and Eclipse is kick but looking character. If you like comedy this is also great!

    Must read

Demon diary was a manga you read when you need a laugh. My sister loved it and she hates my manga. I told all my friends about it and they agree this is a great manga.

How dare you admonish me, vermin?!

This was my first manga, the one that got me hooked. And I'm glad I was introduced to it. Demon Diary is great! It's a pretty simple story, about Demon Lord-in-training Raenef V, and his three companions. One of the great things about this series is how you can interpret it different ways. Like the relationship between Rae and his teacher Eclipse. What exactly is going on? You'll just have to figure it out for yourself! ^_~ Volume 1 is my favorite in the whole series. That's not to say that they're not all great, because the whole series of seven is wonderful. But volume one has two bonus mini-mangas at the end, Terra and Crystal Heart. (They're both very good for being so short, and pretty sad. Crystal Heart made me cry! Shh, don't tell! lol.) I can't think of anything bad to say except that I'm sad that it's over. But all great things must come to end. I definitely recommend this manga for anybody. Oh, by the way, if anybody figures out what the heck is up with the little doll in the beginning of volume one, please tell me! That particular mystery is bugging the heck out of me!

This is about a demon lord in training who is not...exactly demon lord material. So now he has a tutor ( who really should be the demon lord) TRYING desperatly to groom Ranef ( the trainee) But to no avail. This is a AWESOME book and i highly recommend it. It is packed with magic, humor and action!

    Himura-san

Demon Diary is one of the best manga books there is out there! all the characters are great, especially the 'great' Raenef the 5th and Eclipse, the all mighty demon whos gone soft. The story line is great and the drawings are awesome! I totally recommend this book!

    Kools....I like this thingy.

I loved this manga! I need to get the whole series or I'll go crazy...Is it just me, or does it seem to have shonen nai/yaoi everywhere? Well, good. We all need some more. I'm in love with Raenef...seriously. And I'm stalking Eclispe.. *indignant* Yes, he's a real person.

    OMG! ^_^

People of Mangadom, I truly and honestly recommend this manga! I don't know if the other reviewers noticed this, but there are some distinct shonen ai hints all over the manga! Demon Diary is full of humor and drama, and the characters are completely lovable from the moment you meet them. Raenef is just so naive, and Eclipse is so clueless about the changes he is going through. No matter how you look at it, this manga is AWSOME! Check it out! ^_^ (If you have any questions, don¿t hesitate to e-mail me!) *waves goodbye*
