    Kate does not dissapoint!

    Kate Connor is back as the number one demon a$$-kicker. Kate is still trying to cope with a life full of a reincarnated dead husband (former lover of her life), a 15-going-on-30 daughter, a toddler, and a husband who has just recently discovered the family secret. Kate struggles with her feelings for Eric/David and her husband, all while trying to rid the demon currently residing in her first husband. She struggles through with the support of her new alimentore, Eddie, and her best friend, Laura. Things start to get out of hand when the demon starts to take over more of Eric and Kate finds that she may have to sacrifice her husband in order to save his soul.

    A must read!

    A Fun Book

    I loved this entire story line. I was so sad that this was the end, however the story ended perfectly. I would read another one if it was written. The characters were so much fun. I couldn't put the books down. Julie Kenner wrote an awesome series here and it made me want to read other books by her.

    The series keeps going

    Just as fit as the rest of her novels. this series is for the buffy fans that want to see what would happen if she grew up, retired, and then got back in the slaying game! An excellent read for those that love the series. Can't wait for the next installment!

    Good Book

    I'm on the last book in the series now and have enjoyed them. Kind of a Buffy the Vampire Slayer grows up vibe going on and some laugh-out-loud moments. Good job Julie!

    fans will appreciate Julie Kenner's profound glimpse at the human side of demon slaying

    Kate Connor has seemingly more personal issues than usual although she and her second husband Stuart have apparently worked out their differences since he now knows she is a demon hunter. Still she must train her spouse and her enthusiastic teenage daughter Allie how to defeat demons; she knows it was easier on her when her oldest child played soccer only. The supermom also has a two year old toddler who could terrorize almost any demon with his temperament.

    There is also the complicated matter of the return of her formerly dead first husband Eric who has come back to life only to be possessed by a demon. If she succeeds in exorcising Eric's demon yet keeping him alive, Kate ponders what she should do about the two husbands in her life.

    Although the story line starts slower than the usual donkey kicking frantic frenzy and only accelerates a little, the latest demon slaying soccer mom thriller is a deeper look at Kate's quandary. She does not want her daughter to follow in her demon slaying footsteps, but fears not teaching her how to defeat the enemy for she knows Allie will go out on her own. The same holds true for loyal Stuart. Then there is the mess of two husbands as she adores both of them. Filled with angst as she also has the toddler to care for, fans will appreciate Julie Kenner's profound glimpse at the human side of demon slaying beyond a bad hair or broken cuticle day.
