This book definitely is a GREAT sequel to "Supernaturally Kissed". Everything played out so well in this book...but of course the cliffhanger was the BEST.
Tess is now apart of the Memphis Police Department which can be a awful thing and a good thing to her. She gets days off more than she did at her other job...but she also has to deal with things she doesn't want to deal with, like go to a Prison and of course deal with a pain in the booty, medium, Dane. (who by the way I hated in the book...can I kick his booty, please?)
Tess is thrown into a different kind of adventure for her ghost seeing abilities. First off, she has to try to solve a 10 year case, involving a suicide, that may have not been a suicide. She also has to deal with ghosts coming into her house when...ummm...she's kind of busy with Kipp. Yup...definitely feel sorry for her on that one (what a friggin' steamy scene too with Kipp). Those ghosts that come see her are scared of something that turns out to be evil. The police department brings in Dane to help Tess understand her abilities more...and he also introduces Tess to a Witch in Salem, Massachusetts who ends up helping her in so many ways.
Let's just say, you will have a hard time putting down this book. You'll want to know how Tess gets through everything. I love the storyline in this book and loved the ending. I was right on my theory with Kipp too. =) (not giving away the best part...just read the book to find out). I am a little upset with Kipp in this book though. =( Darn him and his jealousy.
This book is full of suspense, magic, adventure, and romance. Tess is such a strong female character, even though she is scared out of her mind on certain things...but who wouldn't be scared of dealing with a killer in a prison?
I recommend this book to anyone who loves paranormal romance, loves ghosts...and loves some humor/sarcasm with their book.
Can Fall hurry up and get here so I can find out what is going to happen between Tess and Kipp? =)

Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged. After helping the police catch a murderer Tess has got a new job, her ability to see and speak to ghosts has her helping the Memphis police solve cold cases. The ghost who started it all Kipp, an ex-cop now ghost and Tess' boyfriend is helping her work with his old team.
The cold case she's on investigates an odd suicide, the case seems pretty clear cut, but with multiple ghost asking for Tess' help with a darkness invading Memphis and the FBI liaison disapproving on Tess and her choice of a lover ruffling Kipp's feathers life isn't a piece of cake.
Read Supernaturally Kissed first - this is a sequel and isn't a stand alone. :) That said, I absolutely loved Supernaturally Kissed and was rooting for Tess and Kipp to find away to be together, that didn't get solved in the first novel so I was waiting for things to clear up in Demonically Tempted - and nothing really happened on that front until the very end. Good cliffhanger but still I sort of wanted more romance, like the first book had.
The plot is very Mystery, it's a lot more detective work that the first book, there are still emotions tied in there but Tess and Kipp's relationship isn't as front and center as before - and I missed it. Luckily I also enjoy mysteries so this plot wasn't wasted on me. I liked it a lot, but being a ghost buff I immediately knew what was going on, so I was reading Tess figure out things I already knew. All the ghost business was as fun as in the first book and I happily loathed FBI Dane and his judgement of Kipp and Tess, Boo! ;)
Tess seemed more cranky in this book that in the first one, perhaps because Kipp wasn't antagonizing her as much her annoyance was bit much, but I still loved her fiery attitude and her passion and all the more calm moments alone with Kipp. Now Kipp was just as sexy as in the first novel, playful, confident (even though ghost) and the way Kennedy wrote him very much alive and a main character - he doesn't feel like a ghost even though he walks through doors and can eaves drop like no other.
In conclusion... more romance! And with how this book ended I can't wait to read Mystically Bound! It promises more romance and I'm all for that.

Ms. Kennedy has done it again! I was hooked from the very first paragraph, and this novella evoked similar emotions inside me as its prequel—Supernaturally Kissed—did, though Demonically Tempted was a little bit darker, a little more dangerous, and a lot more heart wrenching. I’ve fallen in love with this series, rooting for Tess and Kipp’s intense, yet unique, ghostly relationship. I’ll be impatiently waiting on the next book in the Frostbite series, Mystically Bound, due out in the fall (though clearly, for me, not soon enough!)

This is book two in the Frostbite series and Tess now works for the Memphis police department as a consultant working on cold cases. She and Zach have to solve the cold case of a young girl Lizbeth Knapp who committed suicide.
And THAT isn't all Tess has to worry about. The ghosts in Memphis now know her name and about her abilities. And they want her to help them get rid of what they believe is a evil spirit. What Tess actually discovers is that there is a demon in Memphis and she has to stop it.
There was a lot going on in this story and it was all good. Tess was funny and I really enjoyed her spunk. I also loved the way she took her gift in stride, she really wants to help ghosts. I didn't care for Dane either (he was an ass all day) but I did agree with him that Tess should set boundaries with the ghosts she helps.
I also enjoyed relationship between her and Kipp. It was strong and you really believed in the connection between them. And may I ask....How can a ghost be that sexy?! Damn!
The ghost sex?...a little crazy to read. Don't get me wrong, it was hot as hell the way Stacey wrote it, but still a little crazy.
Tess is a brave and strong character and so is her supporting cast.
But what got me was the ending...oh hells bells, what a cliff hanger Stacey Kennedy! I was off my chair, pacing as I read. And I don't think I'll be the only one asking... Can we please push up the release date to like NOW!!!

In Demonically Tangled, Tess and Kipp are back. Tess is now working full time for the police department solving cold cases by finding the ghosts and helping them resolve their issues so they can cross over. Kipp is by her side every minute. The police department hire psychic, Dane, to help with this cold case when problems pile up. Tess and Dane don’t exactly hit it off. And now there is an evil spirit in the area. This spirit scares ghosts. How does Tess deal with this spirit and do she and Dane ever quit sniping at each other? Guess you’ll need to read the book to find out. Wouldn’t want to give everything away.
I give this book (and series) 4 out of 5 clouds. Thoroughly enjoyable.

As of late my head has been tightly wrapped with reading the Historical Fiction/Romance which I love so much, but when an email for this tour came to me I had to stop so I could read this series. The covers drew me in and when I read the blurb I had a feeling it was going to be a good series. Now I am a total Paranormal junkie, but to be honest I haven't really read a lot with Ghost's, it is a particularly interesting subject to me being able to talk with the spirits, mediums and so on. My father passed away 5-years ago and I'll tell you there hasn't been a day gone by I wish to hell I could see him, talk to him just one more time. So when I read the blurb for this series I had a feeling it was going to be good. What I didn't realize was that is was going to be awesome.
Tess and Kipp have to be two of the most favorite characters I have loved reading. Tess is just a normal down to earth, girl next door kinda gal, living her life, going to work, being with her friend Carley, who by the way is so funny, I liked her right away, but Tess has this ability that really only Carley knows about. She has the ability to see, hear and talk with ghosts who haven't crossed over yet, she was in a fatal car accident and after being brought back to life woke up with this ability.
Kipp McGowen, a young cop, hot, sexy, funny, kind, did I say hot.....omg this man sizzles, but there's one problem....he's a ghost who is trying desperatly to get Tess to help him. The heat the bounces between Tess and Kipp makes you need to have a cold shower after reading this book, or go make your partner/spouse a very happy person :) So Kipp the hunk needs Tess to help him find out not only who killed him but Hannah as well which is contected to Kipp's death as the story begins. This book is packed full of everything you look for in a great book, funny, shocking, mystery, a love story, sizzling sexy scenes, a fantastic plot and story line that will take you on an incredible rollercoaster ride of emotions with an ending that I DID NOT see coming. I could NOT put this book down, I read it in a day and went on to book #2 and read it in a day.
Book two picks up right where the first one ends, now you really must read them in order to understand and grasp the whole concept to fully enjoy them. The cast of characters is one you will bond with, Eddie, Max, Zach, I'd have to say Zach and Carley are so funny, they are like your best friends, you will laugh out loud at Tess with her bold attitude, she has no problem telling you like it is, she is a call em how she see's em gal, but kind, vulnerable, soft hearted. I really liked Tess she reminded me of myself lol.
This series is one you really don't want to pass by, if your looking for something new, action packed, great love story, sexy, hot as hell scenes, fantastic cast and an outstanding story, this is the series you will want to sit out on your deck in the wonderful sun or take to the beach with you. This is a huge summertime hit and I can't wait until the Fall for book #3, I will probably have withdrawls until I get the third book in my hands. Bravo Stacey Kennedy Bravo!!!! Enjoy everyone!!

This is one of the coolest books I’ve read about ghosts. Tess is learning how to use her gift and help ghosts instead of being afraid. How could she not do this after her whole world has been turned up side down. And she is completely in love with her own personal ghost. But then a seriously messed up FBI dude shows up to “help” her learn how to really use her gifts. And all the local ghosts are terrified and threatened by a new ghostly presence. They beg Tess to help, and she just couldn’t say no.
I will say that I read this book even faster then the first one. It’s fully of action and twists and completely sarcastic attitudes that I can’t help but love it! You are now learning more about some of the secondary characters as well. I always liked Zach, but now I also really like Max. He has shown me a whole new side.
And then there is Kipp…. Yeah, ghost or not, he’s hot!! LOL and he totally throws Tess for a loop in the book. And then there’s this TOTAL SHOCKER FOR AN ENDING!!! Ok I will say I kinda expected this to happen in book one, but when it didn’t, I excepted my wrongness and moved on. I NEVER expected it at the end of book 2, so it totally blew me away! I love it! No I will not give you hints about this I now SERIOUSLY need book 3, which thank goodness comes out this fall! All in all, another 5 PAWS from me!

Stacey Kennedy has done it again. Demonically Tempted dove deeper into the world of the supernatural and it only added to the depth of Tess and Kipp’s story. I enjoyed this book on may levels. The characters and their relationships are becoming more defined and you cannot help but love every one of them. The plot flowed fluidly and with purpose, and even with the damn cliffhanger I couldn’t help thoroughly enjoy this book. I truly love everything about this book and series in general. Something about the personalities and humor draws me in and keeps me flippin though the virtual pages! The ending may have made me stomp around and cuss for a bit, but only in anticipation of what is to come next!!!
I give Demonically Tempted by Stacey Kennedy 5 out of 5 Bullets!
This series just gets better & better with the addition of Demonically Tempted. I was a little worried, when I fell so in love with Supernaturally Kissed, that book 2 would suffer from the dreaded 2nd book syndrome. Well, Ms. Kennedy didn’t disappoint and delivered an amazing follow-up.
When we last left Tess & Kipp, they were in love and trying to figure out why Kipp, who is a ghost, hadn’t crossed over yet. Tess has also joined the Memphis Police Department in their cold-case division. While she works to solve her first case as a member of the force, she is bombarded by spirits seeking help. There is a demonic force making its presence known in Memphis and it’s up to Tess & Kipp to figure out the origin and banish it.
Demonically Tempted is fast-paced, witty, thrilling and completely addicting! The ending was such a shocker, that you’ll never see coming, I didn’t! Now, I’m counting the days until Mystically Bound is released!
