    A heated erotic romantic fantasy

After being exiled to the Purple Crane by the Yamish for his inability to lead as much as for being a peeping royal, former second tier Prince Pahndir Shan broke the curse of seven years when he finally masturbated. To celebrate his liberation and to use his knowledge gained as a former prisoner training sex prop, he opens up the Prince¿s Flame brothel in the human desert city of Bhamjran. He peddles fantasies, but feels alone as no one fulfills his desires.------------- Archeologist Lord Charles has come to Bhamjran on a dig. His cousin Beth who is seeking adventure joins him. When they meet Pahndir, sparks fly. The trio forms a ménage a trois of sorts that enables each to explore their wants and desires. However, their bonding is weakened by their past relationships that always ended badly for each of them, their guilt for breaking taboos, and those who want the trio broken apart for their own avaricious reasons.------------ The latest Tales of the Demon World (see PRINCE OF ICE) will have readers on fire from Emma Holly¿s excellent romance as ¿sex rode the air¿ or at least the pages. The lead trio forges a fascinating and complex relationship that enables the audience to see deep inside their souls to learn what motivates them, especially ghosts from each of their pasts. Demon¿s FIRE is a heated erotic romantic fantasy that sub-genre fans will savor.----------- Harriet Klausner

    It's good but...

I didn't love it as much as 'Prince of Ice' which did a much better job of tying plot elements together. Here, Muto's motivations were pretty weak, and his actions rather stupid considering his reasons for them. The erotic scenes however are intense and partially compensate for the plot shortfalls, which is OK given that's the main draw. The story of Queen Tou was also a weak part of the plot and the ultimate explanation also rather insufficient. There are some good story elements but they are never really used well. I also wished her settings could be more easily tied to our reality rather than merely a tool to evoke imagery. There's a potential for a really great story hidden in here but it's the sex scenes that meet their goal best.

Love, hot erotica & more Love ! MORE! MORE !

I read this book 4 'four !' times in 2 weeks. Each read became more sweet and poignant. I became more 'in love' with the characters need to protect and accept each other and helplessness to be wholly accepted. Without a doubt Emma Holly has created passionate, achingly tender, soul wrenching erotica with characters you'll never forget. It is truly a story of love, caring and passion between 3 unique & vulnerable characters: A highly-sexed demon and two humans: an innocent female 'a fast learner' & an adventurous male. All this intermingled with fantastic erotica - In the words of the author, 'Hot-Hot-Hot'!

    Book was awesome!

My favorite of the demon series so far. I'm probably not the most impartial - I love the 2 Beyond books and the Midnight books but this one is a favorite. Was so glad Charles character came back, it was the author at her erotic best and the story was fantastic. I hope she keeps going with the demon books.

    Good book - STEAMY!

I thought this book was good but definitely the most explicit in the series. It has m/m and m/m/f story line that some may not enjoy. I liked that we got to see what happened to three characters from previous books in the series. Prince Pahndir, Charles, and Beth all meet up and have some great adventures. Each of the characters are interesting to get to know in the story and are supported by a colorful cast of characters. Emma Holly has created a pretty amazing world with this series that I easily can imagine and enjoy getting lost in over and over.

    Smoking!

Wow, Emma Holly has done it again. Her other books have all been so great that I worry each time that she can't pull it off again, but she does! I loved this follow up to Buttercup's story about her friend Prince Pahndir. If you have not read Prince of Ice you can read this as a stand alone. However, I urge you to get that one too!
