Excellent book. It is really about handling the trials of life

Excellent book. It is really about handling the trials of life and thinking about them from a Christian perspective. We are a generation that seeks comfort and ease. Other generations and cultures know that life is not easy. We have bought into the lies of the culture that life is about our happiness and what we want to get out of life. Thank you Edward Welch and to all who had a part in putting this great book together. After financial trouble, chronic pain issues, parenting a disabled child and losing a mom to brain cancer, this book brought hope, help and healing. I am purchasing a copy for a friend and have recommended it to others who have found it to be one of the best resources.

    Encouraging, Helpful Book on Depression

I purchased this book so I could find out more about the subject of depression. I have a good friend and family members that suffer from depression and I wanted to understand what they are going through. I was able to pass along some of the things I read in this book to my friend and they were very encouraging to her. I would recommend this book to anyone who is either suffering from depression or wants to help a friend or loved one dealing with depression.
