    Reviewed by Hampton reviews

Overall, this is a good eclectic mix of stories from British writers. They are by turns amusing, interesting, and very readable. There are not, however any entries that could be considered horror stories on the level of Clive Barker or Stephen King, so if the reader is looking for that level of horror, he or she will be disappointed. There many, including the story "The Smell of Fear" that are very clever and well done. One or two of these stories did feel as if they were unfinished-"An Interstellar Taxi Ride" definitely could have used a longer format to come to a more successful resolution.
This is an enjoyable read for those readers who like Brit-Lit, and is a fine introduction for those readers who have not yet experienced it
