Williams is an amzing author! His portayal of the human mind and one's choice to recede from all reality spins an amazing allegorical plot of free will, a new conception of hell as it may truly be, and an amazing love story that will blow your mind away. Despite the intense style of writing in this book, it is a stunning picture of the ugly truth that needs to be exposed in today's world.

    I Also Recommend:

Amazing insight into the spiritual aspect of human nature.

Descent into Hell is a fictional interpretation of Galatians 6.2 - "Bear one another's burdens". However, Chs Williams takes that up as a spiritual, if not sacramental reality. This story changed forever my view of what it means to bear one another's burdens. Williams also demonstrates the insidious self-destroying effect of lust. And, the merciful power of self-sacrifice. The story is complex and somewhat difficult to read but well worth the effort.
