Meet the Author

Ian Moir BSc, CEng, FRAeS, FIEE has over 40 years' experience in the aerospace industry. He served twenty years in the Royal Air Force as an Engineering Cadet/Officer, retiring with the rank of Squadron Leader. He then went on to work for eighteen years at Smiths Industries, Cheltenham, UK. He is now very much in demand as a highly respected international aerospace consultant, operating in the areas of aircraft electrical and utilities systems and avionics.

Allan Seabridge BA, MPhil is Chief Flight Systems Engineer at BAE SYSTEMS. With over 30 years' experience in the aerospace industry, his work has included avionics on a wide range of aircraft. Allan divides his time between Europe and the USA. This experience gives him an insight into world-wide developments in all aspects of system engineering capability. He is also keen to encourage a fuller understanding of integrated engineering systems.
