What People Are Saying

From the Publisher
"Rarely does an author produce a classic text and then continue to improve it. Curil Houle has done just that with the second editino of the Design of Education, which contains fresh, new insights about how adult educators can use the system to improve their program-planning efforts. Houle's writings are always thought provoking and this book is no exception."
—Ronald M. Cervero, professor, department of adult education, The University of Georgia

"This second edition of a classic continues to be one of the most thoughtful and comprehensive treatises on designing educational programs for adults."
—Rosemary S. Caffarella, author of Planning Programs for Adult Learners
