Susan M. Winchip is associate professor of interior and environmental design and director of the Department of Family and Consumer Sciences at Illinois State University. She has published in several academic jourbanals, including Family and Consumer Sciences, Jourbanal of Family and Consumer Sciences, and the College Student Jourbanal. Some of the professional organisations to which she belongs are the American Association for Higher Education, the Illinois Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development, and the American Association of Family and Consumer Sciences. She has received research grant awards from the College of Applied Science and Technology and General Electric.
